Sappa Strings

Husband and wife due Wayne and Millie Lauritsen make up the group Sappa Strings. Formerly from the Colby area, they moved last year to Woodland Park, Colorado, but still remain instrumental in promoting and putting on Pickin' on the Plains. They enjoy traveling to festivals to perform, pick and see friends. They play an easy style of cowboy and folk music, accompanied by guitar, autoharp and dobro.
