The Marshall of Dodge City, Allen Bailey, was the master of ceremonies for the festival. In that role, he's always ready to improvise when the need arises. While the performers are doing their sound checks or even if the power fails, Bailey can spin a yard, tell a joke, or sing a song. Bailey is the host of the Western Swing and Other Things show on High Plains Public Radio.
